Pumpkin Pasties from Harry Potter

"Anything off the trolley dear?"
"Um...yes could I have your pumpkin pasties recipe?"\
"..."

If you are a fan of Harry Potter and the trolley lady didn't give you her recipe then try this! This is the perfect fall treat for you. It's warm and yummy and rhymes with yumkin tasties! Today I'll show you how to make pumpkin pasties!

Ingredients:

- 1/4 cup of pumpkin puree
- 1 or 2 tbs of sugar
- 1 tbs of cornstarch
- 1 of vegetable oil
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1 Pillsbury pie crust
- Vegetable oil (for glaze)
- 3 tsp of butter or margarine

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium bowl mix together the pumpkin puree, sugar, cornstarch, vegetable oil (1 tbs) and the cinnamon. Mix it together then put to the side.

2. Bring the 1 roll of Pillsbury pie crust, or anything similar, to room temperature. While you are waiting put line a tray with parchment paper. Unroll and place the pie crust on the tray and cut it into 9 pieces.

3. Cut and shape each piece into a pumpkin shape. Fill one piece with the pumpkin mixture, about a spoonful, then put another piece on top. Squish the edges with your fingers so they stick together. Do with the rest of them. With the last remaining piece put some pumpkin on it then put it on the tray. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes.

4. When the pumpkin pasties are done baking (when light brown), take out of oven and put the butter on them. Add salt for more flavor. And ta-da you have some pumpkin pasties from Harry Potter!

I hope you guys enjoy this recipe as much as I did making it.
